The debut made-to-measure collection explores empowerment as a self-defined state, blending traditionally contrasting symbols of power and disempowerment to forge new silhouettes for power dressing.
Sharp tailoring meets ease and fluidity, conservative silhouettes are interrupted by provocative cutaways and keyholes, and strict style lines contrast with soft romantic curves around the body.
Elements of traditional suiting transform into elegant gowns and outerwear, punctuated by vintage shapewear-inspired style lines. Meticulous pleating creates armor-like structures, while molded shoulders are cropped close and elongated cuffs extend the body’s lines, favoring long, column-like silhouettes over the traditional power V-shape.
The revelry in juxtaposition extends to textile and palette. Lush cashmeres and Italian wools pair seamlessly with lustrous silks, blending contrasting textures to a luxuriously eclectic result. Inspired by Mark Rothko’s blurred boundaries and Caravaggio’s "Judith Beheading Holofernes," the palette mixes purity and aggression with rich hues of oxblood reds, burgundies, blacks, and browns.
Commanding silhouettes give way to intimate detail and craftsmanship. Pristine finishes and hand-sewn elements contrast with raw edges, punctuating the collection’s commanding air of effortless sophistication.
